Fairmount  Cemetery
Ardrossan, Alberta, Canada

Fairmount cemetery is located on highway 16 (The Yellowhead Highway) three kilometers east of the Ardrossan interchange.

When the highway was four laned, the cemetery was in the way so the highway was split.
The eastbound lanes go on the south side of the cemetery while the westbound lanes go on the north side.
A short road joins the lanes and passes in front of the entrance gate seen here.

The following photos are included.
Some are very clear while some are practically unreadable.
I hope to go back the summer of 2002 with my new digital camera and get better pictures.
I will also try to get pictures of all the gravestones in the cemetery.
