I'm Joseph Anderson Stewart. I was born in North Carolina in 1874. I'm not real sure when we came to Arkansas. The 1890 census records being destroyed kinda puts a damper on things as far as I am concerned. If you try to go back to the 1880 census records you won't find me in Arkansas. You can try if want to, I was 6 years old then. I don't remember my father's name so its kinda hard to look for him too. What I do know is that when I met Minnie I had to have her as my wife. We got married in July of 1898 and in 1899 little Julia was born. We bought the farm next to Arminia's mother, Marietta and are enumerated on the 1900 census there. In 1902 Jefferson D was born and in 1904 Sharon B was born. I died some time before 1910 and am buried in the Case Cemetery down the road.
