Ellen is actually buried in the Hollywood Hills, California cemetery. Mary's tombstone is the back side of Franklin & Ellen Smith's tombstone. Frank was married to Mary and she died young. After her death he married Ellen Severance who was Mary's sister. John Severance's tombstone at the Center Cemetary in Colchester, Chittenden Co., Vermont. John died June 11, 1888. He is buried next to his wife Harriet.
