William & Lura Chambers Family Cemetery Stones

Chambers, James, Rich, Bohannon Cemetery Stone Pictures

William M. ‘Bill’ & Lura Jane (James) Chambers

Bill born in 1865 Drynob, MO was the son of William Crumel & Margaret (Core) Chambers. Lura born in 1879 Drynob, MO was the daughter of George R. & Susan (Honssinger) James. Great Grandparents, Bill & Lura are buried in the Lebannon City Cemetery in Laclede Co., MO.

Truman & Nora (Rich) Chambers

Grandpa Truman Thaddist Chambers was born in 1906 to Bill & Lura Chambers in Drynob, MO. Grandma Nora Mary Rich Chambers was born in 1914 in Phillipsburg, MO to Lewis & Margaret (Barnes) Rich. Turman was cremated and his ashes are in Nora's cascet. They are buried at Rose HIlls Cemetery in Whittier, CA in the Sunrise Lawn, section 1, plot 814-3.

Kellie Sue Chambers

Cousin Kellie was born in 1965 to Jerry and Bobby (White) Chambers. Kellie died at age 10 due to accident that occurred in her backyard, the swing rope she was swinging on broke and she hit a brick wall and fell into a comma shortly after. Kellie is buried next to her grandparents Turman & Nora Chambers.

Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary, Whittier, CA

Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary is the largest cemetery in the world, therefore, having a map to find site here is critical. This map is a portion of the West Park section reflecting how to get to the cemetery sites of Esther (Mills) Douglas, Turman & Nora (Rich) Chambers, Kellie S. Chambers, Walter Rich, Hilman Chambers, Rufus Chambers, Irene Chambers, Daniel Chambers and Frank Chambes.

Irvin Jay Chambers

Great uncle Irvin was born in 1897 in Drynob, MO to Bill & Lura (James) Chambers. He died 1819 in Oklahoma at the early age of 22 due to some sort of electrical accident while working. He is buried at the Lebanon City Cemetery, lot E 1/2 block 5.

Georgia Mirzella (Chambers) Gourley

Great aunt Georgia was born 1899 in Drynob, MO to Bill & Lura (James) Chambers. She died in 1955 and is buried in the Lebanon City Cemetery, burial lot 50-2, block 14.

Rufus Chambers

Great uncle Rufu was born in 1901 in Drynob, MO to Bill & Lura Chambers. He died in 1966 and is buried at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, CA, Acacia Lawn, section 2, plot 1219.

Irene B. Chambers

Irene was born 1916 and died 1948. She is buried at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA in the Acacia Lawn, section 2 next to Rufus Chambers. I am guessing she is Rufus' wife based on the location of her stone (I need to research this further since I had no knowledge of her until I saw her cemetery stone).

Daniel E. Chambers

Daniel who was known as 'Danny' was a cousin my dad spoke of who died at age 4 due to accidently locking himself into a refrigator while playing. I believe he is Rufus' son, however, he could be Marvin Chambers son. Danny was born 1944 and died 1948. I believe he was living in Whittier at the time of his death. He is buried at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA in the Acacia Lawn, section 2, plot 1319-3. Rufus is buried in the row behind him. No one is buried on either side of Danny, therefore, I suspect that other Chambers family members own those plots.
