? became the father of Susannah HOWARD 1860c. ? became the father of Esther Ann HOWARD Saturday 8th November 1879. ? became the father of George HOWARD 3rd December 1882. ? became the father of Elizabeth HOWARD 2nd April 1886.

Historical events during the life of ? HOWARD: 1st installment of Charles Dickens' on December 1, 1860; Boer republic of Transvaal is in revolt on December 16, 1879; Karl Marx dies in London on March 14, 1883; Dependent on the Irish government for votes, Gladstones Home Rule bill is defeated on June 8, 1886.

? HOWARD had the following children:

2 i. Aaron² HOWARD (#481). He married Eliza ?. (Eliza ? is #480.) Eliza was born in 176 Hollins Lane, Oldham 12th January 1916.

3 ii. Susannah HOWARD (#478) was born 1860c. Susannah died 3rd July 1914 in 31 Astley Street, at 54 years of age. She married Harry LlOYDE. (Harry LlOYDE is #479.)

4 iii. Esther Ann HOWARD (#399) was born Saturday 8th November 1879. Esther died 1927c at 47 years of age. She married Francis BOTTOMS. (Francis BOTTOMS is #398.) Francis was the son of George BOTTOMS and Martha. Francis became the father of Martha BOTTOMS 4th April 1901. Francis became the father of Edith BOTTOMS 7th November 1905. Francis became the father of Eva BOTTOMS 23rd June 1910. Francis became the father of Aaron BOTTOMS 10th July 1916. Francis became the father of Lora BOTTOMS 30th September 1919. Francis became the father of Doris BOTTOMS 8th April 1922. (See Francis BOTTOMS for the continuation of this line.)

At 21 years of age Esther became the mother of Martha BOTTOMS 4th April 1901. At 25 years of age Esther became the mother of Edith BOTTOMS 7th November 1905. At 30 years of age Esther became the mother of Eva BOTTOMS 23rd June 1910. At 36 years of age Esther became the mother of Aaron BOTTOMS 10th July 1916. At 39 years of age Esther became the mother of Lora BOTTOMS 30th September 1919.

Esther also 1920c. At 42 years of age Esther became the mother of Doris BOTTOMS 8th April 1922.

5 iv. George HOWARD (#475) was born 3rd December 1882.

6 v. Elizabeth HOWARD (#476) was born 2nd April 1886.
