He married Mary Jane MEIR. (Mary Jane MEIR is #341.) Mary became the mother of Arthur James FLETCHER in Sunderland, 1868c.
He was christened in Whitby, Yorkshire, Wednesday 28th July 1841. At 30 years of age William became the father of Arthur James FLETCHER in Sunderland, 1868c. He was listed as head of household in the 1881 census in Stranton, North Yorkshire.
