2. William² HINCHLIFFE (John¹) (#179) was born in Longwood, West Yorkshire 1825. William died 1902 in Salford, Lancashire, at 77 years of age. His body was interred 9 July 1902 in Salford, Lancashire, Weaste (no headstone).

He married Ann HOWARTH in Manchester, 25th January 1843.⁽⁸¹⁾ (Ann HOWARTH is #257.) Ann was the daughter of Samuel HOWARTH. Ann became the mother of Samuel HINCHLIFFE in Salford, Lancashire, 1849. Ann became the mother of Mary Hannah HINCHLIFFE in Salford, Lancashire, 1850. Ann became the mother of Ellen P HINCHLIFFE in Salford, Lancashire, 1852. Ann became the mother of Cathrine HINCHLIFFE in Salford, Lancashire, 1855. Ann became the mother of Charles HINCHLIFFE in Salford, Lancashire, 1860. Ann became the mother of Walter HINCHLIFFE in Salford, Lancashire, 1862.

At 24 years of age William became the father of Samuel HINCHLIFFE in Salford, Lancashire, 1849. At 25 years of age William became the father of Mary Hannah HINCHLIFFE in Salford, Lancashire, 1850. At 27 years of age William became the father of Ellen P HINCHLIFFE in Salford, Lancashire, 1852. At 30 years of age William became the father of Cathrine HINCHLIFFE in Salford, Lancashire, 1855. At 35 years of age William became the father of Charles HINCHLIFFE in Salford, Lancashire, 1860. At 37 years of age William became the father of Walter HINCHLIFFE in Salford, Lancashire, 1862.
