Introduction

Hello, one and all, and welcome to this Our Extended Family History. Here you may discover not only where your part of the family came from but who's blood it is that now runs through your veins.

When I started to research our family history back in the summer of 1979 my motive was to discover the origin of my own surname. It soon became clear, however, that the surname I am identified with was passed down to me by just one of many, many people that contributed to my genetics and, thereby, built me as an individual. Each one had there own aspirations, loves, hates, fears, faults, talents and beliefs. Most of my ancestors I know very little about but one thing I do know is that if they had not lived then neither would I. Though they may no longer walk this Earth a part of them still lives on within me. Even those who made no direct contribution to my very existence; aunts, uncles, cousins. All, I believe, had a part to play. And likewise with yours.

Please delve into the depth of "Our Extended Family and Others" and contact me with additions and corrections and together we can make this a living family history.
