I just started checking into to our family histories when I happened upon your pages. My husband's name is George Edward Coles (grew up in Columbus, OH) and his mother's maiden name was Corbeil (Suzanne Marie Madeleine Mariette, born in North Bay, grew up in Sudbury, Ontario). She had siblings named Claudette, Jeanine, Paul, and Leo. Her mother was Beatrice LaLonde. (I can't remember her father's first name.)

Seeking information on Corbeils buried at Forest Home Cemetery in Houghton, Michigan. Honori (Henry) and Delia POIRIER CORBEIL had 6 children (known: Louis, b. 1882; Alfred b. 1883; Mary, b. 1885 and Joseph, b. 1889). One or more of these children went to Long Beach, CA where Karin Corbeil's ancestor settled. Trying to make the connection. Delia's step father's name was Adolph DEZIEL.

Vicki is the 7th great granddaughter of André CORBEIL dit Tranchmontagne and Charlotte POUTRE through his son André and André's son Pierre.  Pierre's daughter Marie-Josèphe married Jean- Baptiste MONARQUE on June 21, 1773. Vicki is my husband's 7th cousin once removed.

Ann Marie descends from Peter Albert CORBEIL and Margaret Katherine WAHTOLA, m. September 29, 1908; son of Peter Albert CORBEIL and Mary SHEA, m. March 21, 1887.

Bob has been a great help in giving me information on the COFFEE/ MCBRIDE connection. He is my husband's 5th cousin through Paul's mother, Mary Jeanette COFFEE who is the great-granddaughter of Thomas COFFEE (1828-1909) and Martha MCBRIDE (1828-1912).
