I will accept most types of files – HTML, text, WORD, Microsoft Works, if you’re not sure drop me an e-mail and let me know what types of files you have.  Or just highlight the text in your file and paste into your e-mail.

1. I will NOT accept Gedcoms, PAF files or undocumented information.

2. I will NOT accept any information that sources Broderbund WFT (World Family Tree) databases.

3. I will NOT accept information on any living individuals*.

4. Please note briefly how you obtained the information such as the name of the library, historical society, or internet website page address.

5. Please scan your files for viruses prior to sending them. Send them as attachments (or just include the text in your e-mail) to: corbeil@bellsouth.net. In the subject line please put: Purdy Records and the location (i.e. "Purdy Records - OH")

You are especially encouraged to send the following: even the smallest amount of information can lead to a great find!

Obituaries
Census data
Birth, Death and Marriage Records

Family histories, letters and stories
Homepages that have Purdy families

* I adhere to the "Rule of 100" and do not post any information on persons less than 100 years old, unless I know for sure they are dead.  This is to protect any possible living individuals.
