For some time I have been searching for other family members of the same family name, other than half brothers and sister living in Victoria. I know of that the family was in Ballarat (Vic) begining during the gold mining days, and also in North Queenland at Ravenswood. Also I am seeking information on the orgins of the chinese family name of Wun-Hym and Wunhym.
As far as I know anyone with the identical family name are all related. When my step father was alive, Albert Wun-Hym (deceased) he had mentioned that the name should be extended by adding the word 'fookue' speeling is my interuption but I can find no reference to such a family name. I was born in Victoria in June 1934 and when my mother Phyllis Brockwell married
my step father about 1936 or 1937.

Can anyone advise the origins of the name. Such as to its meaning, area in China etc..
I would be interested in hearing from anyone of the same family name.

My postal address is 35 Wardell Drive Penrith NSW Australia 2750
