: If anyone has any information about the history of the surname ALIGNAY, I would truly appreciate it. I believe it's Filipino, as that is what my father-in-law is. But, I've also been told by some French people that it could be French. On the other hand, I've also been told that it could have Middle Eastern origins.

: Can anyone help me?? I would love to present my father-in-law with a historical write up about his family history, as his parents have long passed way, and he, himself is growing old.

Hello everyone! I am one of the twelve children of Constancio Casindac Alignay married to Asuncion Alinsod of Barrio Tagapo, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Constancio is a son of Victoriana Casindac Alignay. I can no longer recall the name of my lolo. The children of Lelang Vito are Basilio, Constancio, Gertrudes, Lydia.
God Bless the Alignay family!
