I belong to "Ang" region of India. In India it is a well known fact that since 500B.C. or much before there is an existence of "Ang" Mahajanpad or Kingdom. There are existence of lot of stories in different hindu religion books related to Ancient Ang.
It is told that once in Ancient Period people from Ang had migrated towards South Eastern countries-Combodia,Vietnam,Malaysia etc and in due course they establish their conoies ther and consequently ruled over ther for a period of 1000 years or more.
People from Ang had constructed a magnificent temple- Ankor watt in Combodia.
The Language which is spoken by people residing in Ang region is known as "Angika".
In my opinion the origin of Ang is India.
Pl. visit www.angika.com for knowing the new aspect of Ang and its language Angika.
