I'm sure that all the brothers had the same last name. In Chinese the family is most important so the family name (i.e. last name is first) Unless you have the characters I think it would be very hard to find out what his real name was since it's been transliterated into English?Samoan?

I believe that the "ah" would just be a sound like English "um" and his last name would be "tuni" but it's unusual for Chinese surnames to have 2 syllables. It's not one of the 2 syllable surnames I recognize. Have you been to his grave? Usually the name and village of the deceased would be on the gravestone.
