Hi,

You may have misinterpreted his surname. 'Kong Sang' in Cantonese (the Chinese dialect in Guangdong) means 'Kong Mister', or Mr. Kong.

Thus his name is Tong Hong, and his family name/surname Kong.So you will want to look for the Kong family in Hawaii instead.

Kong in both Cantonese/Hakka means 'River'. I'm a Kong myself. Hope I've helped.
