Hi,

My surname is Wan (pronounce in Cantonese but Yin in Mandarin). From the research, the meaning of the surname is magistrate. I hope this tally with your surname meaning. (Your description of the strokes seems closed to mine.) My Grandfather comes from HK to Singapore and later on to Kampar in Perak, Malaysia. I am now in Singapore. Cheerio!
