Hi~ I'm trying to find some information on the Chinese portion of my family. My grandfather's name was Victor Sing Chinn, and I was told he was from Canton (am in the process of getting more info from relatives - so far not much!). I found a website for Robert Kwok Chinn who runs Bob Chinn's Crabhouse and it mentioned he was born in Duluth Minnesota (as was my grandfather and myself) and his parents were Wai and Yung Shee Ong Chinn from Toishan/Taishan. My grandmother doesn't know if he is related (apparently my grandfather wasn't too forthcoming with anything Chinese). The only other Chinn I know (besides close relatives and such) is Choy Chinn also in Duluth. I was told the name was changed from possibly Chin when they immigrated. I'm just looking for any information on this family or where I can find more information to start with. I am very new to the geneology process and have not found much so far. Thanks for any info!!
