I'd like to know if there are any detailed and accessible (in English) sites that have historical information about Kuomintang officials.

I'm trying to find something on my grandfather, who was a general and military governor in Guangdong under the Kuomintang government. His name spelt in pinyin would be Hua2 Zhen4 Zhong1. (zhong1hua2 de hua2, zhen4 means 'shake', i think, and zhong1hua2 de zhong1).

His family fled to Malaysia when the communists took over. He died before i was born, and destroyed all his records. by the way, we're of Hakka descent; don't know if that helps.
