I don't know if we're related as my known heritage is supposed to be english-irish. Ancestor Edward Foe born 1828, emigrated from Canada to Nebraska. His son Samuel had a fairly large number of sons, one of whom was my grandfather Howard. Most of the family drifted westward. The unusual name used to prompt me to look in phone directories when traveling in those long lost days prior to easy internet access. Still a bit puzzled how to respond in this format. The Foes that I know are a a waspy looking bunch except for a few black families in New Orleans. Good luck in your search. In my part of the country (Seattle) when people hear the name they think I'm Vietnamese.
