Do you know how to write the name of the village in Chinese? You may want to try contacting a travel agent who specializes in organizing trips to China by sending him or her the village name in Chinese and the directions in as much detail as you can. Such travel agents sometimes have contacts in China who can help locate a village if enough information is given. Good luck in finding it!

: I want to trace my father and mother's background. My father
: came from a village some 60 miles north of Macau called
: Lung Tow Wan where they speak Lung Do dialect. Is there
: anyone out there who can tell how I can get to the
: village and look up my father's family. I also want
: to trace my mother but this appears to be an impossible
: task as girls names were never recorded in China. Would
: appreciate any help. Thanks!
