: Hi, my name is Adam Lee, and in trying to find a chinese name, this is what I have come up with: LiYangDe - Yang2 meaning masculine, positive, bright, etc. and De2 meaning moral, upright. (my father uses the same De in his name) Any input would be greatly appreciated.
What do you mean by good? in what sense? to bring you fortune in your life or a name that sounds good? The name does sound good and meaningful. But if you want the name to be beneficial to your life, just choosing the right characters is not sufficient, as the name might turn out to conflict with your destiny by birth. According to numerology, the sum of strokes that make each character give you a number that belongs to one of the 5 elements: fire, earth, metal, water, wood. Each character belongs to one element. If the elements conflict with your horoscope, then instead of bringing you good things in life, it might present obstacles and hardships. That said, it all depends on what you're looking for in a name.
