I am searching for any record of my grandfahter. We don't know his chinese name or last name, but we call him Ah-Chew. He was brought to Western Samoa in the 1900's to work in the farms. He worked for German employer name Mumu Arp, sometime in 1925 and 1945. He had a daughter that was born in July of 1930. Her name is Metuli and she is my mother. My mother said that she doesn't really remember anything about her father. There were some chinese workers that were sent back to China after the war and her dad was one of them. She was about nine or ten years old at the time. My mother don't even know where in china was her dad from. We believe he might be from Hong Kong because it was the British and German's that brought the chinese to do labour work. I need to see if I can find any list of ships and passengers from Samoa to China in the 1930's to 1945, and where they went. I would appreciate any help or contact from anyone with any information. Thank You. Eveni Tafiti
