: Last week we went to the National Archives and Records Administration at Waltham, MA to review the Chinese Case files for my husband's Moy relatives who immigrated from Mee Lung Village, Toi Shan to Worcester, Malden, and Boston, MA and Washington, DC.
: Does anyone know of a conversion table for Chinese lunar dates to the solar calendar used in the US? We found the abbreviations "KS" for Kwong Suey and "CR" for Chinese Republic which we interpret as approximately 1874 and 1911, respectively. We're not sure how to relate the lunar months and days to corresponding solar months and days.
If you give me the lunar or solar dates I can give you the corresponding dates. You can email me offline.
