I am also searching for my chinese grandfather. His name as known by my mother is Ah-Chew but, might be very well be Ah-Kew. My mother said that her dad was brought over to work in the German farms in Samoa in the late 1800 and early 1900. My mother was born on 9th July 1930 and her dad was working in an Alafua plantation owned by a man name Mumu Arp. Mr Arp might have an english name. Anthony do you know if your dad's destination was Australia or did he go to other islands in the pacific? My grandfather was taken back to China or wherever he came from after the war in 1945 or 46,47,48,49,or1950. Thanks Eveni Tafiti.
