like most of any korean last names ( or any last names for that matter) symbolize a particular trible group. i'm pretty sure that this name goes back thousands of year. as far as i know,"HAN"s were ruling elites in korea, in old days.
if you want to know more, i will galdly do some reserach for you.
but, mostly i would like to know how you got(you family history) to Maylaysia and, if you are korean, do you speak korean and your personal information.
as for me, i 'm in california, U.S.A. and 34years old, male. korean born and lived here in u.s for 21 years.
if you like to know more about me or anything else, send me a email.
: I am a Malaysian of hainamese "Hainam Island" origin and would like the origin of this surname. In Chinese, this surname would be written as the name of the country of Korea or "Han Kook". I would like to know the origin of this surname and to contact all those who share this surname.
