: Im new at this.do I look for only the Chum or the Loo in the name. I think Mikails father was chinese and mother Aleut.I know that he worked for Alaska Packard Cannery in Olga Bay ,Alaska.I found his name in the 1910 Alaska Census with his family.but in the 1920 alaskan census his wife was with someone elsee.and I do know that he died at the cannery.Their was alot of chinese that came to alaska to work in the fisherys....
Answer:Have you searched for records of the cannery? Perhaps check to see if any of the local historical society, library, archives, labor library have any information /records on employees or information on when cannery operated... any death records or city directory listing for him in town? good luck. jwc low.
