i am a river delt history fan and all the stories of the familys and ther history are very interesting to hear about. there is a certain plsace of interest on the sacramentoriver that i hav fallen in love with years ago and yet have not been able to find one story on it besides the name. on grand island, just past the grand island mansion and a right down hwy 220 up from the j-mach ferry, there is a school bult in 1921 called beaver union school. it closed in 1967 and the hiostorical society says that the structure is no longer in existance but yet there it still stands, slowly deteriorating. it sounds like some of your relatives could have been in this area around this era and was woundering if you couldnt squeez any information out of them about as possible? p.s you might know my uncle, him and his family were in locke for all of those times. there last name is "loo".
