Thanks for your input. As far as I know, my paternal grand father is from 大埔( da pu township),晋江 (Jinjiang county). Surname 施 (Shi/Sy), generation name 性. my father's generation name is 能, and my generation name is 纯. Part of the generation name sequence I found in the internet is "...至性能纯养...".. Henry Sy's Chinese name is 施至成, so his generation name is 至. So, I believe we are somewhat related, but of course he doesn't know me, hehe.. I have been looking for a more detailed map of Fujian, but all I see are the major city like JinJiang, Shishi.. don't know exactly were those ancestral villages are. Someday, I would like to travel to jinjiang . Do you know how I can get a more detailed map of Jinjiang area? Ang-Khue village, Dieng-oh are probable the pronounciation in Hokkien, so I don't even know the chinese character for these. My paternal grand mother is from 石獅 Shishi, which is a neighboring city. Surname 王 (Wang/Ong)
