I found the Guo family clan name in the following website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_common_Chinese_surnames

The Chinese character for Guo is s. The Que spelling of your surname is not listed as the same surname as Guo......however, Quek is listed as being the same surname as Guo.....Quek could easily be a transliteration of Que. Anyway, Quek is in the Min Nan dialect which is the dialect of Hokkien/Taiwanese/Teochew. Since most of the early Chinese immigrants to the Philippines came from Fujian Province, AND Quek is in the dialect of the Fukienese (also called Hokkien), then it could be logical that your Que surname is the same as Quek.

This is just my initial speculation. Hope this discussion helps.
