The grandkids think that their grandfather has way too much time on his hands. But, they have also learned that it doesn't do any good to complain. While they fail to see the humor in his antics, they realize that in most other respects he is relatively harmless. Gran D', on the other hand, takes his fun wherever and whenever he can find it and the grandkids have learned to just tolerate his idiosyncracies, or in other words, they just grin and bear it!
