Della Mae Epperson
Graveside rites for Della Mae Epperson, 99, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. John Baxley officiating.
Born Sept. 30, 1900, at Okemah to Joseph Clifton and Louella Womack Lady, she died Oct. 23, 1999, at a local health care facility. She was preceded in death by a son, Harold Epperson, and eight brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Epperson worked as a practical nurse for many years. She was a member of the K Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Josephine England, Ardmore; and sisters, Wanetta Cummins, Lena Vandernack, Marie Webb, Burnice Falkner and Ellava Hickman.
Bearers are Mike England, Steven Breed, Jason Breed, Glendell Epperson and Bill Schafbuch.
Services are under the direction of Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home.
