Ron C. Doubek, 51, of rural Sigourney, died Mon., May 20, 2002, at his home after an extended illness.

He was born July 1, 1950, in La Crosse, Wis. the son of Carl "Pete" and Erma (Sherrif) Doubek. He attended school at Cedar Rapids Prairie. He married Linda Davidson on April 28, 1968, in Vinton. He was currently employed as a Foreman-Supervisor at Cunningham Inc., in Oskaloosa. He was a member of the Keokuk County Izaak Walton, the National Rifle Association and the Harley Owners Group.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Todd of Marion and Ron of Baxter; a daughter, Tera Schafbuch of Marengo; six grandchildren; three sis-ters, Jean Peterson and Marion Roster of Cedar Rapids and Cindy Hoke of Lisbon; and a brother, Robert of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be Thurs., May 23, at 11 a.m. at the Holm Funeral Home, in Sigourney, with the Rev. Frances Baumert officiating.
