OBITUARY: From Funeral announcement:
Carol Mae Meier was born on May 7, 1947 in Grey Eagle, Minnesota to Arthur and Hilma (Shulz) Johnson. She was united in marriage to Kenneth A. Meier on October 2, 1966 at Zion Lutheran Church, Sauk Centre. The couple resided in Sauk Centre, where Carol was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Rebekah Circle; Sauk Centre Hockey Association; Bowling League and Women's Softball League. Carol died on Thursday September 23rd at her home at the age of 46 years, 4 months, and 16 days.
She is survived by her husband, Ken; 5 children, Kim Meier of Brooklyn Park; Kevin, Cori, Kris and Craig, all at home; sisters and brothers, Loretta Nelson of Siren, WI.; Jim Johnson of Grey Eagle; Ardenne Reimers of Grey Eagle; Margaret Atkinsion of Freeport; Herb Johnson of Grey Eagle; Don Johnson of Randall; Ben Johnson of Long Prarie; Tony Johnson of Grey Eagle; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister.
