Obituary Pinky Bell Bowen Applin

MRS. APPLIN
Cameron--Mrs. Pinkie Bell Applin, 71, of Cameron, died Monday morning in
a Cameron hospital after a short illness. Funeral will be at 2 pm
Wednesday at Green Funeral Home Chapel of Cameron, the Rev. J. E.
Lafferty officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron.
Mrs. Applin was a long-time resident of Cameron, was a Baptist.
Surviving are her husband, Jess Applin; three sons, Jess Applin, Jr.,
Lawrence (Buddy) Applin of Rockdale and Dudley Sheffield of Temple; a
daughter, Mrs. Pat Gerick, of Waco; a brother R.L. (Slim) Bowen of
Cameron; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She died of "Coronary Occlusion & Pulmonary Edema. She lived at 903 E
3rd in Cameron, TX.

Pinkie's sister, Eliza, married Jessie Applin's brother, Dan.
Verna Lee Applin remembers Pinkie played the piano.
