M. Bowen of Caldwell County, Texas served with
Waul's Texas Legion's Cavalry
Willis' Batallion Company " F "
from January,1862 through the end of the war in May of1865.
This effort is dedicated to him, the men he served with and to the eighteen
year old cavalry riding rebel that remains in all descendants of the defenders
of the south during the war of northern aggression and beyond.
