DUKE
W. G. "Bill" Duke, 86, a postal carrier, died Sunday, December 28, 2003. W. G. "Bill" was born February 27, 1917 in San Antonio to Jessie C. and Augusta Wille Duke. He was a 30-year employee with the United States Postal Service. Mr. Duke had been a resident of Weatherford since 1990 and he was a member of the North Main Church of God.
Mr. Duke was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Mae Duke in 1969 and son, Roger A. Duke in 2002. Survivors include wife, Hazel Duke of Weatherford; sons, Harvey Duke and Calvin Duke; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at North Main Church of God in Weatherford,.
Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, in Mission Memorial Park, San Antonio. Family Visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
