The Deakins Family Papers consists of two collections:  A&M 624 which consists of one file box containing three file folders covering the period 1784-1924 and A&M 197 which consists of five file boxes containing  a total of 17 file folders covering the period 1778-1925.  There are hundreds and hundreds of documents crammed into these file folders.

Letter from Francis Deakins to Elijah Butler dated Mount Carmel June 8th 1804 mentions lands sold or to be sold by you for me, or from Peter or John Carrico or Jacob Waggoner.

I checked the 1800-1810 folder twice but could not find the Jun 22, 1804 reference to John and Peter Carrico nor the Nov 18, 1809 reference to Julius Hood.
