Joseph Carricot
-Listed as Joseph Carricol in Original Register page 12.  The final letter, “l”, in Joseph's surname is read as a “t” for the index.  It looks to us like the “bar” across the “l” is a squiggle from the previous entry.
-Listed as Joseph Carricot in Register Index
Are Joseph and Asa one and the same?  We think so but have no proof.  Joseph is named in the church baptism records whereas Asa is named in his father's will and siblings' probate records.  As noted below, sister Lydia's probate records named Asa and Elizabeth as her half siblings.

Where is James Q.?  We haven't found him in the Register or the Index but we haven't finished going through either one.  Maybe a page was misplaced???
We know that James lived because he was named in his father's will, his brother Vincent Jr.'s probate records and his sister Lydia's probate records.  In Lydia's probate, James is named as her full brother, whereas Asa and Elizabeth are named as her half brother and half sister.  We are using a birth date of abt 1796 for James Q. as that is the marriage date for Vincent and Susanna and Marie Louise's birthdate shows as 1797 in the baptism records.

Daniel Carico
-Listed as Daniel Carico in his entry in Original Register on pages 21-22
-Listed as Daniel Carico in Register Index
Daniel has been called “David” in other transcriptions.  In father Vincent Carrico's will Daniel is named but there is no David.  And in all the other family probate records there is only a Daniel named.

Are Paul or Paul S. and Silas the same person?  It is our thought that they are.  All the documents we have found up till now (21 Jul 2008) use the name Silas except for the baptism record, which uses Paul.
