| At the Request of John Waters
the following Deed was recorded the 2nd day November Anno Domini 1802. This Indenture made this nineteenth day of October in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and two Between Vincent Carrico of New Spain in the upper Lusianna of the one part and John Waters of Charles County in the State of Maryland of the other part. Witnefseth that the said Vincent Carrico for and in consideration of the sum of Sixty one pounds ten shillings Current Money of the State of Maryland to him in hand paid the receipt whereof I the said Vincent Carrico do hereby acknowledge and confefs and the said John Waters his heirs Executors and administrators by these presents thereof and therefrom forever acquitted released and discharged have granted bargained and sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain and sell aline enfeoff and confirm unto the said John Waters his heirs and afsigns forever Forty one Acres of land lying and being in Charles County aforesaid, being part of a tract of land called Strife lying and being in the County aforesaid. Begining at a Cherry tree where the division of the said tract began between David Rollings and John Harbin and run North Seventy two Degrees East Forty six perches, then South Seventy four degrees East Eighteen perches, then Six degrees west twenty perches, then South Six degrees East Eighty four perches, then South Sixteen degrees east ten preches, then North Sixty seven and a half degrees west |

one degrees and a half west seven perches, then North Eighty Degrees west thirty six perches, then North thirty Eight degrees East Eight perches, then North Nineteen and a half degrees East Seventy Six perches, then with a straight line to the beginning containing Forty one acres more or lefs, together with all the rights privelidges frofits and appurtinances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, To Have and to Hold the said tract or parcel of land premises hereby intended to be bargained for and sold as aforesaid, unto him the said John Waters his heirs Executors administrators and afsigns forever and for none others use purpose or interest whatsoever. And the said Vincent Carrico for himself his heirs Executors and administrators do covenant and agree to and with the said John Waters his heirs Executors admin -istrators and afsigns, that the aforesaid parcel of land, premises and appur -tunances and every part and parcel thereof are free and clear and freely and clearly acquitted and discharged of and from all manner of former Gifts Grants Sales bargains mortgages dowers titles of dowers, rents and arrearages of rents and all other incumbrances of what nature or kind soever, and that he hath in himself, full power and authority to grant bargain sell and afsure the same in manner and form afore -said. And the said Vincent Carrico, himself his heirs Executors and administrators do hereby further convey and grant to and with the aforesaid John Waters his heirs and afsigns that he the said Vincent Carrico his heirs Executors administrators and afsigns the aforesaid land and premises by these presents bargained and sold with appurtunances and every part thereof Shall and will forever warrant and defend from all person or persons whatsoever by these presents. In Witnefs whereof the said Vincent Carrico hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year above written
Be it Remembered that on the 19th day of October 1802 Came Vincent Carrico party to the within Instrument of writing before us Two Justices of the peace for Charles County and acknowledged the same to be his Act and deed, and the Land with its appurtinances therein bargained and sold to be the right title property and estate of John Waters therein also named his heirs and afsigns forever, according to the |
