At the Request of Jefse Burch and Edward Burch the following Deed was
recorded the 2nd day of November Anno Domini 1802 ~
    This Indenture made this Nineteenth day of October in the year of our
Lord Eighteen hundred and two. Between Vincent Carrico of New Spain in
the upper Lusiannia of the one part, and Jefse Burch and Edward Burch of
Charles County in the State of Maryland of the other part. Witnefseth that
the said Vincent Carrico for and in consideration of the sum of two
hundredpounds Current Money of the State of Maryland, to him in hand
paid the receipt whereof I the said Vincent Carrico do hereby acknowledge
and confefs, and the said Jefse Burch and Edward Burch theor heirs
Executors and administrators by these presents thereof and therefrom forever
acquitted released and discharged, have granted bargained and sold, alined
infeoffed and confirmed, and by these presents do grant bargain and sell
aline enfeoff and confirm, unto the said Jefse Burch and Edward Burch
there heirs and afsigns forever, one hundred and four acres of land lying
and being in Charles County aforesaid, being part of a tract of land
called Maidstone. Begining at a locust post in the South East line of
the said Land whree the division was made between James Carrico and
Allen Harbin and run thence with said line Forty one perches to a bound
white oak, thence South six degrees west Fifty seven perches to a Locust
post, then South Sixty degrees East Fifty five perches to a red oak Stump,
then South Seventy five degrees east thirty perches, then North Sixty three
degrees EastFifty nine preches to a locust post then North Fifty two
degrees west Forty Eight preches, then North Forty Eight degrees East thirty
four perches to a Bock Hicory, then North nine degrees East seventeen
perches to a Bound white Oak, then north twenty one degrees west Ninety
four perches to a locust post, then with a straight line to the begining,
containing one hundred and four Acres more or lefs, together with all the
rights priviledges profits and appurtinances thereunto beloning or in any wise
appertaining. To Have and to Hold the said tract or parcel of land
premises hereby inteded to be bargained for and sold as aforesaid unto
them the said Jefse Burch and Edward Burch there heirs Executors admini

strators and afsigns forever, and for non others use purpose or interest
whatsoever. And the said Vincent Carricoe for himself his heirs Executors
and administrators do convinant and agree to and with the said Jefse
Burch and Edward Burch there heirs Executors adminstrators and
afsigns that the aforesaid parcel of land premises and appurtenances
and every tract and parcel thereof are free and clear and freely and
clearly acquitted and discharged of and from all manner of former
Gifts Grants Sales bargains mortgages dowers, titles of dowers and ll
other incumbrances of what nature and kind soever and That he hath in
himself full power and authority to grant bargain sell and afsure the
same in manner and from aforesaid, And the said Vincent Carrico
himself his heirs executors and adminstrators do hereby further convey
and grant to and with the aforesaid Jefse Burch and Edward Burch
there heirs and afsigns, that he the said Vincent Carrico his heirs
Executors administrators and afsigns the aforesaid land and premises
by these presents bargained and sold with appurtinances and every part
thereof shall and will forever warrant and defend from all person or
persons whatever by these presents. In Witnefs whereof the said Vincent
Carrico hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his eal the day and
year above written ~

On the back of the aforegoing Deed is thus written to wit.
   Be it Remembered that on the 19th day of October 1802 Came
Vincent Carrico party to the within Instrument of writing before the
subscribers two Justices of the peace for Charles County and acknow
ledged the same to be his Act and deed, and the Land with its appur
tinances therein bargained and sold to be the right title property and
fee Simple Estate of Jefse Burch and Edward Burch therein also
named their heirs and afsigns forever, according to the true intent
and meaning of said intrument of writing and the Act of Afsembly
in such cases made and provided ~
