At the Request of Peter Carrico Senior the following Deed was Recorded  [        ] 2d Day
of June Annno: Domi 1764 ~~~~
Maryland ?st: This Indenture made this sixth day of april In the [                      ]
of  our lord one thousdand seven hundred and sixty four Between Pe[             ]
Carrio Junr of Charles County in the Province afsd Planter of [                    ]

part and Peter Carrico Senr of the same County and Province Planter of the other
part Witnefseth that the said Peter Carrico Junr and in Consideration of the
sum of Ten thousand Pouns of Crop Tobacco to him in hand paid by the said Peter
Carrcio Senr before the sealing and delivering ot these Presents the Receipt whereof
The said Peter Carrico Junr doth hereby acknowledge and himself to be therewith
fully satisfied Contented and paid and from every part and parcel thereof doth
fully, Clearly and absolutely easments against and discharge the said Peter
Carrico Senr his heirs Executors and administrators and every of them Hath
Bargaind, sold, aliend, Enfeoffed, Transfered, Confirmed and made over and by
These Presents doth Bargain, sell, alien, Enfeoff, Transfer, Confirm and
Make over unto the said Peter Carrico Senr his Heirs and afsigns forever
a Tract of Land lying in charles County aforesaid Called the Maidstone
Begining at a Bounded White oak a Bound Tree of Thomas Hunts Land called
Hunts Venture runing thence North Twenty Perches to a Bounded gum
Thence West by North thirty four Perches to a Bounded Pock hicory standing
on the south side of Fresh Run thence Binding upon a parcel of land
Called Canterbury North & by West two hundred Perches to a Bounded White
Oak thence south West one hundred Perches to a Bounded Red oak thence
East South East Twenty Perches to a Bounded White oak of Robert Gates
then South East Binding upon Gates's one hundred and Thirty Perches
To a bounded white oak thence South and by West fifty Perches to
a Bounded Beach of the said Hunts thence to the first Bound Tree containing
one hundred acres more of lefs to have & to hold the aforesaid Tract of land
and Premises with their and every of their Rights members and
appurtenances with the several Buildings and Improvements thereon
as aforesaid unto him the said Peter Carrico Senr his Heirs and afsigns
forever and the said Peter Carrico Junr doth for himself his heirs Executors
& administrators Covenant, promise and agree to and with the said Peter Carrico Senr
His heirs & afsigns that the said Peter Carrico Junr is in full Pofsefsion and
is firmly siezed in his Demisne (Demense) of an Indefeasible Estate of Inheritances
In fee simple in the before Bargaind Land and Premises, and that he hath
full (po)wer good right and Lawful authority to alien sell and afsined the
same (la)nd that the said Peter Carrico Senr his heirs and afsigns shall &

May at all times hereafter have hold pofsefs occupy and Peaceably Enjoy all
& Singular the Before Bargaind Premises with the appurtenances there unto
belonging without any Eviction Ejection, or molestation of him the said Peter
Carrico Junr his heirs or any other Person or Persons whatsoever, Claiming by
from or under him them or any of them or by his or their Title means or
Procuroment and the said Peter Carrico Junr the before Bargained Land and
Promises, with all of singular the appurtenances unto the said Peter Carrico
Sonr (sic) his Heirs and afsigns against him the said Peter Carrico Junr his
Heirs & afsigns and against all and Every other Person or Persons whatsoever
Shall and will Warrant and forever defend by these Presents In Witnefs
whereof the parties aforesaid have Interchageable hereunto set there Hands
& seals the day & year first above Written ~~~

Charles County to with the Sixth Day of April 1764 Came Peter Carrico
Junr before us the subfribers two of his Lorships the Right Honbl the
Lord Propriotarys Justices of the Peace for said County & acknowld the
within to be his act & Deed & the Land and Premifses therein mentioned
To be the Right Title & Eftate of the within named Peter Carrico Senr his
Heirs & afsigns forever according to the purport true Intent & meaning
of the said Deed ~~~~
