| At the Request of John Biggs the
following Deed was Recorded the 22d day of February ~~~ Maryland ---- fst This Indenture made the first day in February in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and fifty-Eight by and between Abel Carricoe of Charles County in the province aforesaid planter of the one part
being in Charles County aforesaid and beginning at a bounded Gum standing in a Small Branch Running thence North five Degrees west Thirty Thirty Seven perches and a half. Thence west one hundred and Sixty perches to a ???anally Cedar tree thence South five degrees west to Peter Woods line then with the said line to the beginning Containing thirty one acres more of lefs together with all Dwelling houses Afsingen Building Barns Stables Gardens Orchards profits advantages and appertenance Whatsoever to the Said tract or parcell of land and premifses belonging the appertenances unto the siad John Biggs his heirs and afsigns forEver without let.. Trouble Suit denyal Eviction Ejection Mollestaion or Interuption of him the sain Abel Carricoe his heirs Extrs or administrators or any of them or by any other person or persons or precence whatsoever Claiming by or or under him them or any of them and that the said Able Carricoe and his heirs aforementioned Tract of land and premifes with the appernta nces unto him the said John Biggs and his heirs and afsigns forever against him the said Abel~~ Carricoe and his heirs or any person or persons whatsover Claiming by for or under him their or any of them Shall and will warrant and forever defend. 1:1758 Then Came Abel Carricoe Subscribing party to the within deed and Acknowledged the Same to be his act and Deed and the land and premifses therin mentioned to be the Right Title property and Estate of John Biggs his heirs and afsigns for Ever and at the Same time Came Ann Wife of the said Abel Carricoe and acknowledged her Right of Dower to the within Land and premfises and being by us privately Examined out of the Hearing of her Said Husband Declared that She acknowledged it freely and willingly without being Compelled thereto by threats of her husband or fear
Alienation ine on the within mentioned land for the use of the Lord Baltimore and by virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq. his Lordships ajent Benjamin Fendall |
