Proprietary of the Province of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baltimore &c To all pesons to whome these presents shall come Greating in our Lord God everlast- =ing Know ye that we for and in consideration that John Hunt of S. Maries County in our Lord province of Maryland hath due unto him one hundred acres of Land within our Province by afsigmt from Thomas Salmon part of a warrant for Two hundred acres Granted him on wenty Sixth day of September one thousand Six hundred Seventy one as appears upon Record and upon Such Conditions and Termes as are Expressed in our Conditions of plantation of our province of Maryland under our great Seale at Armes bearing date at London the second day of July in the year of our Lord God one thousand Six hundred fortynone with such alterations as in then is made by our Declaration bearing date the two and Twentieth day of September Anno one Thousand Six hundred fifty eight and remaining upon Record in our Said provence |

four perches to a bounded Pochicory Standing on the Southside of a fresh Runn thence bounding upon a parcell of Land called Canterbury north and by west two hundred preches to a bounded white oake thence Sourth west one hundred perches to a bounded Red oake thence East South east Twenty perches to a bounded white oake of Robt Gats, thence South east bounding upon Gates one hundred thirty perches to a bounded white oake thence south and by west fifty perches to a bounded white oake of the said Hunts thence to the first bound Tree Containing and now laid out for one hundred acres more or Lefs, Together with all Rights profits & benefits thereunto belonging, Royall mines Excepted, To have and to hold the Same unto hi the said John Hunt his heirs and afsigns for ever, To beholding of us and our heirs as of our manner, of Calverton in free and Common Soceage by Realty only for all manner of Services, yeilding and paying therefore yearly unto us and our heirs at our Receipt at our City of St mary's at the two most usuall Feasts in the year viz at the feast of the annciacion of the Blessed virgin mary and at the feast of St Michael the Archangell by even and equal portions the Rent of four shillings Sterg in Silver or Gold, And a fine upon every alienation of the Said same or any part or parcell here of one whole years Rent in Silver or Gold or the full value thereof in Such Commodities as we or our heirs or such officer or officers appointed by us or our heirs from time to time ot collect and receive the same shall accept in discharge thereof at the Choice of us and our heirs or Such officer or officers aforesd Provided that if the said John Hunt his heirs or afsigns Shall not pay unto us and our heirs or such officer or officers as aforesd the Said Sume for a fine before such alienation and enter the said Alienation upon Record either in the provincial court or in the County Court where the Said parcell of Land lyeth within one month next after such Alienation the said alienation shall be void and of none Effect Given at our City of St mary's und. the Great Seale of our Said province of Maryland the Seventeenth day of June in the three and [ ] year of our Dominion over our said province annoque Dom one thousand six hundred Seventy five Witnefs [ ] Dear Son Charles Calvert Esq our Lieut Genl and Chief Govenor of our Sd province of Maryland |
