It is believed that every male living today are related at some point. It is thought that all living males descended from
 Hapologroup Adam. (His actual hapolgroup is unknown.) G1 who has been tested in the SNPs listed, should be the
example for G1, G2, G6, and G11, as they are Haplotype matches. Thus they have a common ancestor. G3 and G5
Could share these SNP markers, but should have some differences as they are not related within the time frame of the
use of surnames. Since all six are R1b1b2s this does mean they have a closer relation ship then the other Gilpins
tested since they are a different haplogroup, Ia2.
