"Daniel Black, Sr. rode horse back from Saluda County, South Carolina to Tuscaloosa County the year of 1846. He met Margret Kyzer at a Camp Revival meeting. They were married January 27, 1848. They settled in the village of Coaling (Tuscaloosa County), Alabama. DANIEL & MARGARET had 14 children, 8 lived and had children of their own." -KIM
