In the Name of God amen I William Buckley of Loundon County being in
Perfect heath of body & sound memory. Thanks be given unto god calling
unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for
all men once to die do make And ordain this my last Will and Testament
that is to say Principally and first of all I give and recomment my soul
into the hand of almighty god that gave it and my body commend to the Earth
to be buried in decent christian burial at the Discretion of my Executors
nothing doubting but at the general Resurrection I shall receive the same
again by the mighty poser of god and as Touching such as Worldly Estate
wherewith it has Pleased god to me in this life I give devise & dispose
of the same In the following manner and form....... First I give and bequeath
to my son Joshua Buckley my lot of land I now live on Item I leave to my
Children John Buckley Joshua Buckley Samuel Buckley Elizabeth Harris Sarah
Harris Catherine Harris & Rosanna Halbert and Elijah Buckley son of
William Buckley dec my whole Estate both Real & personal the same to
be sold & the money arrising from the sale therefore to be equally
divided among them. Ithem I nominate & appoint my live sons John Buckley
& Joshua Buckley my Exec. Of This my last Will & Testament In Witness
whereof I have Hereunto Set my hand & seal this 12th day of July 1786

This Will was proved by the oaths of T. Blackburne & Richard Neale
witnesses thereto & ordered to be recorded & on the motion of Jho
& Joshua Buckleys Exor. THerein named who made oath according to law
certificate is granted them for obtaining a probate in due form giving
Security whereupon they with T. Blackburne & Samuel Love entered into
& acknowledge their bond in the Penalty of five pounds Conditioned
as the law directs
