His Will was written 7 Feb 1950 and left everything to: J.S. Rodebaugh, my brother, 4812 Coliss Avenue, Seatlle, Wa; Mrs Blanche Rodebaugh, my sister, c/o Mrs Mary K. Gongaware, 1703 30th Street, San Diego; and Mrs. Albert Poole, Akron, Ohio, my sister; share and share alike.
Executor was to be his brother J.S. Rodebaugh.
Madsen filed a petition for letter of administration. in 1955 J.S. Rodebaugh filed a nomintion appointment Madsen administrator. Ben died 26 Dec 1950 leaving an estate of around $6,500.
The appraisers for the estate were appointed 1 Feb 1951 and included David E. Woodring, john C. Willis, and Jas. D. Madsen.
The inventory for real property included:
Land fronting on Willoughby for 101 feet and 310 feet in depth,
Lower extremity of property measures 25 feet,
Several building on property: one warehouse 31x20 feet;
one large shop building 30x24 feet;
1 storeroom and living quarters, 18x40 feet;
and one open shed 33x30 feet.
Also occupied by a number of old cars and debris. That as valued
at $8,500.
The total estate was valued at $9,549.84 until they found more personal property that bumped it up to $9,950.30. Deductions were made of $3,287.89 for the expenses (nursing care for last illness, funeral, etc.) and add to that some expenses and taxes of $382.93 so that left $6,473.70. In April of 1956 a supplemental was filed stating that some tax had been refunded and additional expenses incurred so total for payment was $6,361.01 or $2,120.34 each.
