As far as I have on the Samman family is Heinrich Ludwig Sammann. He was born on November 5, 1850 in Germany died on July 9, 1923 at Plainview, in Hale County, Texas. On April 7, 1876 he married to Gesine Hoefelmann, who was born November 4, 1851 in Germany and died on September 11, 1918 in Plainview. Eight children were born to "Henry" and Gesine.

Sophie Louise Sammann was born in Brenham, Germany on August 20, 1882 and died in June of 1942 in Lamb County, Texas. She married Stephan Douglas Struve on May 4, 1909 in Plainview, Hale County, Texas. Their family is listed on the Struve page.

I'm searching for anything more on the Samman familes. I have a few of the descendants, but I'm woefully short on the ancestors.
