BIBLE PAGE

Attached is the image of a Bible page. I believe it to be from Jacob Eller, husband of Elizabeth Grimes, son of Jacob Eller Sr. and Margareth Willjard/Williard, grandson of Henry Eller Sr. (immigrant to America from Germany) and Elizabeth Bigler. The page was given to me by a descendant of this family. It was with items belonging to Mary Ann (Ridgway) Eller, wife of Warren Eller, including letters addressed to her, locks of hair from Warren Eller and two of their children, and various newspaper clippings regarding the family.

Notice that the entries are in several shades of ink and a variety of handwriting, leaving me to believe that the entries were made one at a time, as the children were born, rather than this being a page copied later from some earlier document.

The final entry, the death of Elizabeth, is written in pencil on a separate piece of paper and pinned to the page, as though someone intended to go back later and enter it in the Bible with ink.
